Meet our Recruitment Specialist

Linley Steele, Director

Great People Recruitment’s Director, Linley Steele, has first-hand experience recruiting staff and developing teams as well as valuable knowledge gained within both external and internal recruitment environments here in NZ and overseas. Her skills and experience are drawn from being part of and managing successful teams within various private and publicly funded industries over the past 20 years. 

Linley’s career commenced within Healthcare as a Registered Nurse at a very busy hospital in Auckland.  She moved into a management role within five years where she loved working with a large team of Health Care Professionals and was invited to play a fundamental role within Change Management.  This opportunity took her overseas where she moved into the Recruitment Industry initially within health and then expanding her knowledge, gaining experience recruiting temporary, contract and permanent staff for several office support and project roles in various business sectors.  Back in NZ, Linley worked for several years supporting an internal recruitment team of a large bank as well as a national Executive Search Company.  She has enjoyed recruiting for various areas of the bank including high volume roles and graduate recruitment.  From her experience, Linley understands the importance of detail alongside a thorough recruitment process to minimise risk and ensure compliance all backed by a high-quality customer and client service.

Linley and her husband have twin daughters, they have lived in Cambridge for thirteen years and love supporting their local community whether it is buying local, being involved in community boards and committees, or enjoying the activities the Waikato has to offer.  Linley enjoys meeting people and is passionate about helping businesses grow by offering cost-effective and thorough recruitment solutions.
